As the Pelion train was once more in action the museum organized in 1996 an exhibition showing the history of the train and its
operation.
The construction of the railway by Evaristo de Chirico, with its bridges, tunnels and retaining walls, the iron bridge over the
ravine, the operation of the engine and a detailed map showing the route taken was a study undertaken by the Stamatis couple. The
exhibition also referred to the changes the train brought to the lives of the villagers as it provided easier and quicker access to the city port of Volos and it told of the problems the Friends of the Railway faced when they fought to put back the train in action.
The exhibition is housed in one of the buildings of the Railway Station open to the public on the days the train is in Milies.
