The exhibition presented the centaur Chiron as an educator, a healer, friend of the people. Using texts and photographs from ancient Greek vases, frescoes and mosaics, paintings and sculptures, the exhibition referred to the birth of Chiron from the union of Saturn and Philyra, it gave information about the teaching of Achilles, Jason and Orpheus, it told about his learning from the god of medicine how to heal with the many herbs of mount Pelion
and finally it told of his tragic end with Prometheus.
