The exhibition was created to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of the Local Museum as a tribute to the older generation. It presented
images of the village and the daily life of its people in the early 20th century.
Images of Milies before being burnt by the German army in 1943 and before the earthquakes devastated it in 1955.Family photos,
snapshots from school parades, weddings and christenings, vespers in the surrounding many chapels, carnival events and masquerades, walks and excursions with groups and companions were an opportunity for old and young to communicate.
